What do the Swedes do differently? Our colleague Caroline Hajek found out during her internship abroad and realised a small dream.
For a month, she immersed herself in the world of Scandinavian architecture. As part of the IFA international professional exchange programme, she learned a variety of new approaches and working methods from an architect in Malmö. In addition to quick sketches to visualise buildings in the shortest possible time, Caroline deepened her knowledge, particularly in Autodesk Revit.
What will she particularly remember? The typically relaxed Swedish way of working.
"I definitely take this calmness with me into my day-to-day work. If something doesn't work, don't get stressed straight away, but stay calm and take enough time to solve the problem."
Our structural draughtswoman also gained a lot of valuable experience in her private life. Especially in close contact with three other participants, with whom she shared a flat.
We now welcome Caroline back to our office and look forward to having her back on current projects.
