Golden prospects at the QUBES Technology Campus

The ROSA Alscher Group campus with its five imposing buildings in Munich Nymphenburg offers tenants ultra-modern office space - and pioneering building quality. This is demonstrated by the LEED and DGNB Gold certifications achieved. Our experts from the Sustainability department were in charge of implementing the sustainable concept. They supported the certification process and ensured the implementation of the following highlights, among others:

  • Energy-efficient heating and cooling systems: Local district heating in combination with low-temperature heating/cooling systems reduces energy consumption thanks to lower flow temperatures.
  • Photovoltaic system: The large-scale system covers a large part of the energy requirement.
  • Monitoring system: For long-term optimization of energy and media consumption.
  • Roof greening: Promotes biodiversity and reduces urban heat islands.
  • Rainwater harvesting: Supplies water for plant irrigation and saves valuable drinking water.
  • E-mobility: electric charging stations for cars and two-wheelers are available.
  • Indoor climate: The proven use of low-emission materials and the final indoor air quality tests certify a very low-emission building and ensure a healthy working environment.

With a result that is 20% below the requirements of the Energy Saving Ordinance, the buildings set standards in energy efficiency and resource conservation. The DGNB Gold plaque was presented at a ceremony at Expo Real at the end of last year and underlines the outstanding teamwork involved in the holistic, sustainable planning of this project.
