Topping-out ceremony at the Vis-à-Vis in the Village im Dritten
113 apartments, five stores, a kindergarten - the Vis-à-Vis in the Village im Dritten is one of the largest and tallest timber buildings in Austria. With its eight above-ground storeys in timber hybrid construction, it sets new standards in sustainable residential construction.
This is progressing according to plan: the topping-out ceremony has already taken place, the topping-out tree is enthroned on the roof and the scaffolding is disappearing bit by bit.
Our experts from the timber construction department played a key role in the implementation of the building. They optimized the supporting structure and, together with the client Schwarzatal, all specialist planners and the PORR Group, redesigned the project in such a way that the respective material properties of timber and reinforced concrete could be optimally utilized.
The building can now be seen in all its glory - including its high-quality timber façade. A real showcase project: sustainably built and a real eye-catcher.
